The HTC EVO 4G LTE is one of the best smartphones on the market. Available on Sprint May 18 for $199 with contract, this phone shares DNA with the HTC One X, but Sprint's made it their own with revised angular looks and a two-way kickstand. The phone runs Android OS 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4 software, just like the One series.
The EVO 4G LTE runs on the smoking fast 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 CPU with 1 gig of RAM and 16 gigs of storage. It has a 4.7" 720p Super LCD that's gorgeous and it's only 0.35" thick. The 4.7 ounce phone has dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a GPS.
Again, like the HTC One series, the EVO 4G LTE has an 8 megapixel rear camera with a fast lens and HTC's ImageChip, a dedicated processor that allows for such things as 60fps video recording at 1080p. Is the camera great? Yes it is.
The phone has 3G EV-DO Rev. A and LTE, though Sprint's LTE network won't start lighting up until mid 2012. Alas, that means liberal use of WiFi for your fast data needs until Sprint's high speed network comes to your area.
