Griffin Technology has released a new collection of accessories designed for the popular Kindle Fire. Here is more info on these new protective cases for the Kindle Fire from Griffin:

Leading the line-up is the Survivor for Kindle Fire. This meticulously engineered case is designed from the inside out to meet and exceed military standards for protection against windblown dirt and sand, rain, shock and vibration. Survivor's shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame is further protected by an outer layer of rugged, shock-absorbing silicone. A built-in touch-through screen protector guards the touchscreen from the elements. Survivor for Kindle Fire is available now for $59.99.

In addition to the Survivor, their collection adds three new folio cases for Kindle Fire. All three boast contemporary textures and fashion-forward designs. These one-piece folios, designed to carry and flip open like a book, feature durable, stylish outer finishes and microsuede linings to minimize scratches and smudges. Individual features include:

Elan Passport - Inner cover includes pockets for cards; tab closure secures cover; $39.99.
Simple Passport - A variety of attractive outer finishes; secures with an elastic band; $29.99.
Elan Folio - Quarterbound binding, embossed with pyramidal stud pattern; supports the reader in two landscape positions, upright and inclined; $39.99.

Griffin's TotalGuard Matte is a screen protection kit with applicator and cleaning cloth for Kindle Fire. TotalGuard is Griffin's new approach to device protection, with simple, no-mess installation. This screen protector adds a layer of optical-grade stretch, tear and puncture-resistant PET film to the Kindle Fire's screen. The film is resistant to fingerprints, smudges and glare, and won't affect the sensitivity of the touchscreen. TotalGuard Matte is now available for $19.99.

Rounding out the Kindle collection is Griffin's PowerBlock Micro, $24.99, a 100- to 240-volt wall charger that includes a detachable 10 foot (3 meter) micro-USB to Type-A USB charge and sync cable.
