It is about time for me to replace my current laptop, and I would like some advice. At the moment the to competitors are Asus Zenbook UX32VD and the new Sony s-serie with a 1600x900 display. I really don't know which one to pick, so I am hoping that you guys can help me.
I will be using the computer for college and some gaming

For gaming, I'd pick the Vaio S 13.3 with NVidia GT640M LE graphics. It works circles around the GT620M in the UX32VD. Also, that old fashioned optical drive in the Vaio might come in handy if this is your main machine.

I agree, the S 13.3 display just can't compare to the Zenbook Prime 1080p display.
