Mapi Cases has released a new leather holster case for the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, the Nais Leather BlackBerry Z10 Belt Case. This leather case comes with a sturdy built-in belt clip and lets you keep your BlackBerry the "traditional" way on your belt or clip to your bag or purse. The case is very protective and very easy to use. The understated style and the classic leather colors, black, tan and brown, make this case a great choice for professional settings.
The Mapi Nais Leather Belt Case for the BlackBerry Z10 targets those long time BlackBerry users who are used to carrying their smartphones on their belts or clip to their bags. The case is made with high quality European leather that has polished and soft surface, and it feels nice in hand. The case has stiff inserts and soft padding on both front and back, and the backside's insert feels a bit stronger as it needs to support the belt clip. The Mapi Nais Leather case is very protective of the BlackBerry Z10 and it can certainly prevent any scratches, bumps and nicks to the phone when you store it in the case. It's easy to slide the BlackBerry Z10 into the case, and the closure flap is fitted to shut the case with strong magnets easily and securely. It's also easy to take the device out: there is a small cutout hole on the bottom (when you position the case horizontally) that helps you push out the phone.
The interior of the Nais has soft lining that will be kind to your BlackBerry Z10 while it's stored in there. In fact, the soft surface can keep the display panel clean to certain degree when you slide the phone in or take it out of the case. The Mapi Nais Leather Belt Case looks classy and high quality. It has reinforced stitching at the bottom to take most of the wear and tear when you handle the phone in and out of the case. The Nais case comes in three deep and rich leather colors and comes with a fabric pouch in a nice box in case you wish to gift the case.
The pouch style case offers several convenient functions, though it's likely you'll need to take the phone out of the case to use it. The magnets built into the Mapi Nais Leather case function as screen sleep/wake up trigger, and it worked well in our tests. When you slide the phone into the case it goes to sleep automatically; likewise when you take it out the screen automatically turns on. There is only one cutout on the case, at the bottom, that helps you push the phone out of the case, making it easier to take the phone out quickly when you get an incoming call. But there isn't a cutout for the 3.5mm audio out jack. It would have been nice since some users would like to plug in a headphone for making/receiving calls or listening to music while keeping the phone protected inside the case.
The built-in belt clip on the Mapi Nais Leather case is well made. It's attacked to the case securely and it's easy to use: not too tight that makes it hard to clip onto something but not too loose that it might fall off. The clip has just the right width and it can rotate 360 degrees, which allows you to carry the phone in either portrait or landscape or a few positions in between. Nice!
For those who are used to carrying their BlackBerry smartphones in a holster, the Mapi Nais Leather Belt Case offers a stylish and classy carrying solution that includes auto wake and sleep feature and a nicely built belt clip.
