X-Doria has released several new cases for the iPhone 5s and most of them are slim cases with different back designs and material. The Scene Plus series case currently comes in three designs: Blurry Dots, Black Prism and Pink Bubbles. These hard shell plastic cases are slim and easy to use; their clear back shows off the unique graphics and the shade of your phone.

Design

The X-Doria Scene Plus Case for iPhone 5s/5 has a hard plastic back that protects the iPhone from scratches, nicks and bumps when you toss it in your bag, and rubberized sides that improve the grip and make it easy to install the case and take it off. The case is very slim and weighs only 0.8 ounces. The rubber surface on the sides indeed feels grippy and the bezel is raised slightly above the display glass so that when you put the phone face down on a flat surface and let the case touch the surface instead of the phone. The X-Doria Scene Plus Case fits both iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s.

The X-Doria Scene Plus Case for iPhone 5s comes in three distinctive designs, Pink Bubbles (pictured here), Blurry Dots and Black Prism. The back plastic is clear and where the layered print doesn't cover, your phone's back will show through. It's great for those who want to play the design with the color of their iPhone and make the entire look interesting.

Features

The X-Doria Scene Plus Case for iPhone 5s is a functional case with cutouts for ports but covers the buttons to add extra protection from wear and tear. The case has perfect cutouts for the silence slider on the side, the bottom Lightning port, mic and speaker. The case has a large cutout for the rear camera and flash, which is a bit oversized. The case covers the volume buttons and power buttons to protect them. While it's quite easy to use the volume buttons under the cover, the power button is hard to press and the raised rubber cover over the power button gives very little feedback when you press it.

Conclusion

The biggest attraction for the X-Doria Scene Plus Case for iPhone 5s is the 3D-like layered inlay of the graphics on the back of the case. We like the slim and light form of the Scene Plus and the unique patterns on the back. The case makes the phone easy to grip and provides easy access to ports and cameras. The case doesn't come with any screen protector but it works with any of your own. The case is easy to install and take off, only the covered power button is difficulty to operate.
