Verizon Wireless Now Offers LG G Pad 8.3 LTE Tablet
      #46134 - 03/04/14 02:11 PM

Verizon Wireless today announced the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE is now exclusively available on Verizon Wireless. The LG G Pad 8.3 LTE will be available starting March 6 for $299.99 online and in stores. To kick off the launch, the tablet will be available for $99.99 with a new two-year activation from March 6 until March 10. After March 10, users can purchase the tablet for $199.99 with a new two-year activation. Customers can add the tablet to their MORE Everything plans for an additional $10 per month.

The tablet is portable, yet still gives users a large 8.3-inch full HD IPS display for watching movies, browsing social media and editing documents with Polaris Office 5. And because of its design, bookworms can hold it comfortably with one hand to read using the Amazon Kindle app.

For the multitaskers out there, the 1.5 GHz quad-core processor keeps up with their busy lifestyles. Moving back and forth through multiple running apps is fast and simplified through two features of the LG G Pad. With Slide Aside, users can switch between up to three apps by sliding three fingers across the screen. Alternatively, the QSlide Function feature allows users to display up to two apps on the screen at once. For example, users can watch a side-loaded movie while also sending emails, all on one screen.

Messaging on a tablet once meant email and social media updates, but in today's connected world, texting is also a part of the tablet experience. Instead of trying to use both devices at the same time, the Q Pair app on the tablet uses Bluetooth to sync the tablet with a user's Android smartphone (running Android 4.1 or higher) to receive notifications for calls, texts and social media updates. If the phone is accidentally left at home or at the office, Verizon Messages allows users to send and receive text messages from their tablets.
