HTC One M8 Upgrade Issue
      #47680 - 02/10/15 02:30 AM

Over the weekend my phone had an upgrade done, both Verizon and HTC. Now my phone vibrates nonstop when I get a message until it's read. It also plays the notification sound. This wasn't like this before. It does this even in silent mode. It's extremely frustrating.

How do I make it stop!

To add, 'Vibrate' isn't even checked for emails. At times it goes off without even having a message.

This morning I woke up around 3am, phone was about to die (it was on the charger charging at the time). I checked the connections, made sure all was connected (it was) and then went back to bed.

Woke up around 6am to an alert 'your phone is consuming too much power, shut it off to charge it' and was dead.

Anyone else seeing issues after the weekend upgrade?

So my two issues are:

- Consistently vibrates and sounds alerts until the messages are cleared / read
- Power is running down even when plugged in and charging (something is eating up power)

I downloaded the Google Now launcher over the weekend and it's been fine since Sunday. The power issue just popped up last night.

HTC just got back to me. The setting is under 'Accessibility', just turn the 'Notification Reminder' to off. I saw this prior and thought that it may turn off ALL notifications. It does not though, just stops it from going off repeatedly.

Everyone can rest easy now, thanks.
