WaterField Peralta Abby iPhone Case Review
      #49293 - 04/04/16 06:33 PM

Peralta is WaterField's offshoot brand that's dedicated to making tech gear bags for women. Though the Peralta bags share some of the key design elements and components with the WaterField bags, elements including gold liners, YKK zippers, removable shoulder straps and leather and Luna Textiles materials, they have unmistakable feminine styles. The Peralta Abby iPhone Case is a small purse that's designed to store your smartphone in a padded pocket and your wallet, lips stick, keys and other small items in three separate compartments. The Abby case comes in four color options including Black and Mahogany Pebble Leather, Blue/Gold Plaza by Luna and Red Gala by Luna.

The Peralta Abby iPhone Case is beautiful and elegant, yet it doesn't scream, "rob me! I've got expensive high tech gear." The leather version has supple thick leather that shows natural gain in either black or rich mahogany color. For users who live in wet climate, the Luna Textile woven fabric offers water-resistant feature. Both versions of the bag have WaterField's signature gold lining that's very durable to withstand repeat handling and easy to see in lowlight settings. The Abby comes with YKK zippers that are easy to operate, and two sturdy shoulder strap hooks, made with thick leather and chrome, that can easily bear the weight you might carry in the bag. The black leather shoulder strap is 4.4' long, which is long enough for most women to wear the bag in cross-body style. The strap doesn't have a length adjustment buckle to keep it light, though you can tie a knot to shorten the strap.

The Abby case isn't just designed for iPhones, though it can accommodate the largest iPhone 6s Plus or the smallest iPhone SE. The padded phone compartment runs the width of the bag and it can store smaller phones as well as phablet sized phones including the largest iPhones, the Galaxy Note phones, and even a 6" Kindle fits in the compartment. Next to the phone compartment you'll find the main compartment that's more spacious than the phone pocket. It can accommodate a decent sized wallet, sunglasses, a pair of earbuds and a pack of gum. A small pocket on the opposite side of the phone pocket can hold your keys, lipstick, eyeliner pen and other smaller make-up items.

Conclusion

For women who like to go out with a small purse yet keep their phone and small essentials in a safe and protective purse, the Abby is an excellent choice. This cross-body purse looks elegant yet subtle and it's built with high quality material. The interior's bright lining makes it easy to find your things even in dimly lit places, and the compartments keep your things organized. You can certainly find a stylish purse elsewhere, but it's hard to find a purse that has padded pocket to protect your phone from serious bumps and scratches. We like the two fabric options for different climates and the excellent craftsmanship in the design and make of the bag.
