OtterBox Strada Series Case for iPhone 6/6s Review
      #49525 - 06/28/16 06:47 PM

With the collection of slim wallet cases on the market for the iPhone 6/6s, it's safe to assume that you'll go through several of them before you upgrade to the next generation of iPhone. Most of the cases in the slim wallet style have very thin phone cases/holders that crack or simply break off when you bump the phone on hard surfaces. If you want a wallet case that won't easily break, check out the OtterBox Strada Series Case.

Though ultra thin among the rugged cases from OtterBox, the Strada Series Case for the iPhone 6s benefits from its rugged roots. The strongest part of the Strada is the phone holder that offers several layers of protection including a sturdy polycarbonate shell with shock-absorbing inner layer and leather back. Hard polycarbonate protects the vulnerable parts of your phone including the corners and sides, while the reinforced cover protects the phone's screen. The case fuses hard and soft materials together to fluidly protect the phone while making it easy to install the case and take it off. The edges of the phone case rise up from the screen, creating enough room to store content in the card slot.

The OtterBox Strada Series Case for iPhone 6/6s has leather exterior with extra stitching on the front cover to differentiate the front and back of the phone. The case has soft suede interior, and the chrome OtterBox side badge functions as magnetic closure for the front cover. The front cover offers a single card slot that can effectively hold two credit/ID cards. The front cover doesn't detach on the back however, so you won't get a built-in stand.

The OtterBox Strada Series Case for iPhone 6/6s is a very functional case. It offers cutouts for the rear camera/flash cluster with side curve to give the flash enough room to fully illuminate. The case offers three bottom cutouts for the audio and Lightning ports. The Strada covers the iPhone's buttons with easy-to-press button covers, and they're indeed very easy to use. The front cover also has a cutout over the ear piece and the side buttons, so you can keep the front cover closed while talking on the phone.

Conclusion

The OtterBox Strada Series Case for iPhone 6/6s carries the OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection badge, which means you can drop and bump your phone many times in this case and you won't break the phone or the case. The case doesn't protect the phone from water damage however. The Strade is very slim for the special drop protection it offers and it comes with a card slot for potentially two cards or a card and some cash. The case looks stylish and professional, and it comes in three colors. We love the sturdy and strong phone holder on this case and the premium leather exterior. Things to note: the case has only one card slot and it doesn't have a build-in stand.
