If you can find a scanner that supports wireless like IR and has PDA driver, you might be able to do this. But I've not seen a such product.

Someone sent us a link to this company that provides scanner products:

It seems to be using a PCMCIA card which will only work with iPAQs with PC card sleeve.

wow thats interesting...
alittle pricey (seeing as I would have to buy a sleeve as well) I think but still a neat idea
