Can anyone tell me the advantage of having a pocket pc (Dell Axim X5) with a CF Slot and a SDIO vs having one (Dell Axim X3) with just a SDIO slot? What will the CF slot allow me to do that a SDIO slot will not do? Question 2, I was in a Best Buy store today and noticed for sale some SD cards by Secure Digital. They had some 128 MB cards for $59, and other SD 128 MB cards for $79. Are some cards used for different applications, or can one use either of these cards in an Ipaq PC? Is the more expensive card a better card? Thanks Adrien
Having both CF and SD card slots give you more expansion and accessory possibilities. For example, if you are using a CF GPS receiver, it's handy to have an SD slot to store maps on the SD cards. Or, if you are using a CF wifi card to surf the web and listening to MP3 songs on the SD card at the same time...
