I purchased a e805 and ran into the "digitizer not responding " issue in less than a week. I returned it and now I am not sure if I should switch brands or just get another one and try it out.
I found a few others have the same problem. Toshiba recommends sending it in for repair. I am wondering if this is a common occurrence? Comments/remarks/advice appreciated? I am definitely hooked onto the VGA res. !

Get another e805, they're great and most are reliable. Some of the first batch had a problem where the thin paper-like liner between the screen and bezel became dislodged (you could see it sticking out from the corner of the LCD). That caused the unresponive digitizer problem. There are quite a few happy e805 owners who haven't had the problem. For those who did have the problem, Toshiba quickly fixed it for free under warranty.

I got it ! I got another one sitting right next to me. I am going to keep my fingers crossed for a month  Thanx LisaG
