IS PDA works similar to Desktop PC or not

Hi,
I want to use PDA to access remote desktop of the server installed windows Advance Server, is it posible that i can access remote desktop of anyother computer through wireless internet of PDA? if so then please guide me because my nature of the work, i want to access sever desktop while in traveling.
