I'm not a Mac person, but does the Mac have separate logins for different users like Win2K/XP? OSX is based on Unix, and Unix had that security capability as well. If so, only an administrator can access another users files. The way around it in Windows is to install the common software under "All Users". I have no idea how to do that on a Mac.
