Does Windows Mobile 5.0 allow proxy settings for internet filtering?

I am about to purchase an iPAQ w/ Windows Mobile 5.0, however I would like to install an internet filtering software. I have emailed the software company I use for content filtering on my desktop and they said as long as my PDA would allow proxy settings they their software will work. Does anyone out there know if this is true???
