Issues with Bluetooth file exchange between imate and Apple G5

Hi folks.
Just got the TMobile MDA (Imate Jam by any other name) and am trying to get the Mac
to see the Imate while i can bluetooth files imate to mac i can't get it to work the other way
the Bluetooth file exchange says "Device does not have necessary services" anyone know
how i can get this to work?
