I was wondering from everyone?s vast experience here which windows pda mobile phone with a GPS I should look into? Right now I have an Old nokia 6200 mobile phone which is dieing and a ipaq 5455 with a CF GPS (the GPS just died). Was thinking about combining the 2 into one great Windows PDA phone. The only problem that I see is that the screen resolutions in the new ipaq is smaller then the one I have making all my software not work, sigh. Guess that is not that huge of a problem just have to get new software. I am with Cingular right now and they offer a few GPS phones that you can buy. They are sneaky though and will "activate" them only if you pay a monthly fee. This in my option is a waist of money. Would rather buy the software separately and not have to pay for it every month. I have had my ipaq for about 4 years now and plan to keep the new one for longer.
Cingular offers the following phones. Cingular 8125 Pocket PC Motorola SLVR L7 Motorola RAZR V3 HP iPAQ hw6515
I know that this does not limit me to these but I can get them cheaper through Cingular. I do not have a problem with signing another contract but if I can get a phone where I don't have to change my current plan that would be great. How is peoples experience with the GPS on the ipaq hw6515? Can you get an external antenna? Would it just be cheaper for me to buy a bluetooth receiver and mapping software? Well there are to many questions for me to ask. Give me some ideas help me make up my mind
