Netbook review: HP Mini 2140
      05/15/09 04:03 PM

HP's higher-end netbook for the business and education market breathes a little life into the "me too" netbook market by adding a few desirable features and a metal casing that's tough and looks cool too. The Mini 2140 fits the mold with its 10.1" LED display, 2.6 lb. weight, Atom 1.6GHz processor and Windows XP standard. HP jazzes it up with a Vista option and 2 gigs of RAM (don't worry you don't have to get Vista!), WiFi 802.11 draft N with better than average range, Bluetooth and an ExpressCard slot. It costs a bit more than HP's Mini 1000 consumer line but the price bump gets you some worthwhile upgrades. Is it worth it? Read our review to find out.
