Taiwan's Compal Lands 100K Nokia Booklet 3G Orders for 09, Report Says

Digitimes is quoting insider sources that report Taiwan-based notebook maker Compal Electronics has landed orders for 100,000 Booklet 3G netbooks from Nokia with shipments to be fulfilled before the end of 2009.

The device, due to arrive in late October, will be priced at 575 euro (US$821) before any subsidies from mobile operators.

Nokia released the specs for the Nokia Booklet 3G yesterday at Nokia World 09:
