Quote: Lisa, I've seen the Backflip at an at&t store, but wasn't able to hold it in candybar form, because it had a magnet stuck on the back to keep people from stealing it. You've held it in candy bar form, does the phone feel too small???
When I bought my Backflip I ask to see a phone so I could hold it and get a feel for it without it being tethered. The store I was at was very helpful and brought out a phone for me to look at.
It's hard to say whether it would feel too small to you. What are you used to? I am a pretty big guy and I like the form factor of the phone both open and closed. The volume rocker is a bit too small and not raised enough for my taste but in all other ways the phone feels solid.
The Backflip stacks up against the iPhone this way:
If you lay a standard size credit card on the Backflip (in the closed position) the credit is a bit (barely) wider than than the phone and 1/2 inch shorter.
