Notebook review: Sony Vaio F111FX
      05/14/10 09:57 PM

Sony's 16.4" notebook is nearly desktop replacement size but it's much more portable than those 17"+ beasts on the market. Not only that, it can actually manage to function away from an AC outlet for 2-3 hours. The Vaio features Sony's signature sleek design and a quad core Intel i7 CPU at a mid-range price. It has a gloss display with wide viewing angles, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 310M with the GT 330M as an option and a Blu-ray drive. Other amenities include a backlit chiclet style keyboard, WiFi, Bluetooth and standard 7200rpm hard drives. Not too bad for a $999 notebook.
