MotionObj today announces SimplyTweet 3.4, an update to their full featured Twitter application for iPhone and iPod touch. Version 3.4 adds many tweaks as well as stability improvements to the application. Check out the info on the new features:
Newly added features include:
* Rearrange timeline display, more effective use of vertical space. * Send draft as tweet/DM now deletes the draft if sent successfully * TwitLonger links in tweet view are now automatically expanded * After swiping a draft in the list of drafts, there is now a delete all button * Some touching up of themes * links to mobile Twitter site for tweets and accounts now open properly in SimplyTweet (instead of opening a web view) from bookmarklet * account view loads faster now. It will only load 20 tweets when it is displayed
and the Bug Fixes
1. fix: pressing original link (usually TwitLonger) in tweet view opens a blank window 2. fix: blocking often reported as failed even though user is blocked 3. fix: posting a geotagged tweet a second time will use old (and possibly outdated) location 4. fix: app did not allow long tweets with pictures to be posted to Posterous if long tweets were disabled 5. fix: tweet links with https:// opened from bookmarklet now displays in tweet view, insted of web view 6. fix: seemingly redundant prompts for login 7. fix: right after posting in landscape mode with background sending and then going back to timeline, the app will not go back to portrait mode even if tilted, until the post has finished sending 8. fix: after showing the hashtag picker in compose view, the app will no longer be able to switch to landscape mode 9. fix: attempt to translate and empty user description will display "" 10. fix: stop using the crash reporter (which just made crashes much worse)
