I agree. IMO, the Kindle 4 is pretty much just a marketing technique so Amazon can advertise that the Kindle line starts at $79. The touch screen is great for looking things up, while the keyboard is great for taking notes, but the plain Kindle 4 is good for neither.
If you really can't afford the $20 extra, how are you going to buy any books for it anyway? I guess you could just use library books and free classic books, but that sounds pretty boring to me.
