Verizon Wireless today announced it will be updating the following 4G LTE smartphones for global use. Verizon's global features for smartphones and tablets include international long distance calling from the US and calling while traveling overseas. Their global data plans let you roam on local data networks on land as well as on some cruise sips. Here's a list of 4G LTE smartphones from Verizon Wireless that will get the global features this summer:

Customers will see a notification on their device when the software update is available for their device. After the software update, customers will be able to take their smartphone overseas and use voice service in more than 220 countries and receive data in more than 205 countries.
