AT&T Starts Pushing Android 4.0 ICS to Motorola Atrix 2 Users
      10/09/12 01:58 PM

ATT today announced that customers will be able to officially update their Motorola Atrix 2 to Android 4.0 (ICS) starting today. Here's more info:

Android 4.0 makes your phone easier to use and more powerful than ever. The many new features include the new browser with improved page loading, tabbed browsing, offline reading and desktop mode. There are new lock/unlock features such as the ability to unlock directly to the camera, text messaging, phone dialer, home screen or use Face Unlock. You can also create home screen folders just by dragging one app icon onto another, and swipe away notifications bar.

With this update, the ATRIX 2 contacts app is replaced with the new People app, which pulls together a large profile picture, phone number, and status updates in one location. Android 4.0 also helps customers stay on top of data with charts and information breaking down the specifics of data usage.

Customers can update their phone over WI-FI by going to Settings > About phone > System updates.
