Moshi today announced two new cases and screen protectors for the iPad mini. The new products include VersaCover origami-style folding case and stand; Concerti designer portfolio case; and Moshi's signature iVisor XT ('crystal clear') and AG (anti-glare) screen protectors. Here's more info on these upcoming products for the iPad mini:
VersaCover: Origami-style magnetic cover and hard shell case with stand
Moshi's patented origami-style VersaCover case first hit the scene in June of 2012, and quickly won the hearts of many iPad users with its ingenious folding capability and distinctive look and feel. Moshi has redesigned VersaCover in four fresh new colors for the new iPad mini, while maintaining the case's slim, stylish and ultra-functional characteristics.
VersaCover is constructed of a soft microfiber cover which can be easily folded to offer viewing in both portrait and landscape modes. The case also features a polycarbonate hard shell which protects the device's aluminum back from scratches and shocks. VersaCover's built-in magnet assembly supports the iPad mini's auto-wake/sleep feature for quick access to all apps and media, and the case allows for unhindered operation of all iPad buttons and cameras.
VersaCover for iPad mini will sell for $55 USD, and will be available in four colors: Aloe Green, Denim Blue, Sakura Pink or Velvet Grey.
Concerti: Elegant portfolio case
Moshi has adapted its popular Concerti case for the iPad for the new iPad mini device. Concerti offers iPad mini customers such features as a sleek microfiber exterior, a cushioned silicone interior and several additional convenient features for the avid tablet user, including:
. Dozens of adjustable viewing angles . Convenient elastic strap secures the front cover in place when closed . Hybrid silicone/microfiber inner case for superior 360-degree shock and scratch protection . Built-in magnet assembly for auto-wake/sleep functionality . Unobstructed use of front and backside cameras while inside the case
Concerti is uniquely designed to open from left to right, vs. right to left like most iPad covers and reading materials. This feature was purposely done to allow for access to the iPad mini's rear camera without the need for an unattractive hole in the back of the case. This design offers aesthetically clean lines and maximum protection without compromising functionality.
Concerti for the iPad mini will sell for $45 USD, and will be available in Falcon Gray.
iVisor XT and AG: Bubble-proof and washable screen protection
Moshi's ground-breaking iVisor screen protector will be available for the iPad mini, offering all of its well-loved features like easy application, washability and absolutely no bubbles - ever.
Unlike other screen protectors that require a lengthy or challenging installation process, Moshi's proprietary design allows iVisor to be installed in seconds without a single air bubble. In addition, iVisor's polymer-based adhesive allows for unlimited cleaning/reapplication cycles for extreme durability.
iVisor AG, or 'anti-glare', is designed to effectively protect the iPad mini's touchscreen from scratches, fingerprints, and other minor damage while reducing distracting glare from excess light. iVisor XT provides the same durable and convenient features of the iVisor AG, but offers extreme clarity for users concerned with maintaining the screen's glossy finish.
Moshi's iPad mini offerings are targeted for official launch at the end of Q4 2012. iVisor AG and XT for the iPad mini will sell for $30 USD, and will be available in black or white to match the device.
