iPhone 5 Case Review: iLuv Topog Case for iPhone 5 Review
Editor's Ratings (1-5): 5
What's Hot: Flexible ridged case with ergonomic curve makes this thing feel great in your hand. Good compromise between sleekness and drop protection.
What's Not: No protection from moisture.

iLuv's Topog case is classy, subtly stylish, and feels great to hold. It provides basic bump/scuff protection, and its soft, flexible material adds significant drop protection to your iPhone without adding a lot of bulk.
Size and Fit
The Topog is slim and sleek, although your device will feel noticeably thicker in your hands once it's installed. This is an unavoidable and entirely reasonable tradeoff for any case that is built to provide shock absorption. The Topog fits the iPhone 5 like a glove, but gives full access to all switches, buttons, and ports.
Features and Quality
After installing this case, the first thing I did was hand the phone to my wife, who is notoriously hard on her cell phones. She immediately commented on how she liked the feel of the case, stating that the ridges and slight curve on the back made it feel much more secure in her hand. In fact, I had a hard time getting it back from her to write this review. This is understandable as she had recently dropped her phone, and was terrified that it was going to go to happen again. While she loves the sleek lines and polished feel of her iPhone, she regularly comments that it feels too slippery in her hands. If you feel the same way, you're going to like the feel of the Topog. The material from which the case is constructed perfectly balances rigidity with flexibility, and manages to feel grippy without feeling rubbery; firm, without feeling brittle.
Style The ribbed construction and the slightly curved back are not only functional, but attractive, as well. The Topog manages to looks both classy and sporty at the same time, and the fact that it is available in black, red, and white really clinches the deal.
The Topog by iLuv is one of the very best minimalistic cases I have reviewed. It provides decent protection without adding a lot of bulk, is subtly stylish, and feels great in your hand. Highly recommended.
