Boingo Wireless today announced a global Wi-Fi roaming deal with ATT that allows ATT customers traveling abroad to gain access to Boingo's global network of managed and operated Wi-Fi hotspots via the ATT Wi-Fi International App. Boingo Wi-Fi hotspots at leading international airports are now available to ATT customers, with service continuing to expand throughout 2013. Here are the details:
The Boingo network, comprising managed and operated, aggregated and crowdsourced hotspots, includes more than a million Wi-Fi and DAS locations, and reaches more than 1.5 billion people worldwide annually.
Boingo customers will also be able to access AT&T's network of hotspots in the United States, including airports, restaurants, sporting arenas and retail locations, per the agreement.
The AT&T Wi-Fi International app is available to AT&T customers who subscribe to either the 300MB or 800MB AT&T Data Global Add-On package. Visit att.com/worldpackages for complete details.
