U.S. Cellular has announced availability of the Samsung Galaxy Mega beginning online on Sept. 17 and in stores Sept. 19. The 6.3-inch device provides customers with the best of a tablet and a smartphone in one handset, and will be $149.99 with an instant rebate.

The Galaxy Mega from U.S. Cellular is available in Nova Black and is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and 1.5 GB of internal RAM. Its HD Super Clear LCD display brilliantly showcases photos, movies, games and presentations. It runs Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and has many of the features of the Samsung Galaxy S 4, including Air View, Multi-Window, WatchOn and Easy Mode.
U.S. Cellular, in partnership with King Street Wireless, currently offers 4G LTE service covering 61 percent of its customers.
