Tungstens - how to keep the screen "large"?

Hi,

I like to use most of my applicatications in full screen mode when the slider is open. However, if I use an app that doesn't support the large screen and go back to my main app, it opens in small screen mode.

Is there a way to tell applications to open in full screen mode if they can by default?
