PLEASE HELP...

I need to quickly get a palm based(preferably) PDA that can...

#1. Connect to a peripheral hardware device via a serial cable
#2. AT THE SAME TIME be able to stay connected to the car charger cable.

Will the Sony NX73V (or any other Palm based large screen color PDA) do this??? If not what PDA will??? (Palm OR Pocket PC based)
