The year is 2264. 201 years after man first traveled faster than the speed of light, and 257 years after one classic cult television favorite was first added to the iTunes Store.

Apple has quietly added the full first season of the original Star Trek television series, which originally aired on NBC for four seasons starting in 1966, to the iTunes Store. The 29 episodes can be purchased separately for the standard $1.99 each, or all together for $56.99.
