Tanker Bob's first Blog entry on his transition to Linux was a big hit with lots of reads. We're happy to say that Bob is ready with his second installment which covers how he chose among the myriad Linux distros and settled on Ubuntu, more particularly Kubuntu. He takes a an AMD 1400+ T-Bird machine with a gig of RAM that probably would have run Vista slowly and yet runs Linux well.
