Mobilityflow announces the release of version 1.0 of Send Contact for Pocket PC Phones, a handy freeware solution for sending data from your phonebook to anyone in your contact list in seconds using SMS. It's helpful, it's tiny and it's free.
Send Contact is made to be compatible with all types of contact managers. It lets you use Outlook Plugin right from your contact manager to choose and send necessary contact data. The tool creates one or several messages containing info from phonebook fields you specify. Moreover, Send Contact also opens the unique opportunity of delivering files and images in an ordinary SMS message. That only requires internet connection to be available to send files to a special server, so that the message will contain a direct URL link to files. Thus, with the help of Send Contact you can transfer more data within a single SMS, including photos and files.
Send Contact is available wherever you can use your usual SMS service. You won't have to go through difficult adjustments to make it work nor enable other communicational services, like MMS. It's also handy that the recipient won't need the tool be installed to properly receive messages you send. However, if the recipient has Send Contact on his Pocket PC Phone, he can set the tool to automatically transfer the received contact info right to a phonebook.
Send Contact 1.0 for Pocket PC Phones runs under Windows Mobile 5, 6 and provided free of charge. Windows Mobile 5 requires .NET Compact Framework 2.0 to be installed. Licensed customers are entitled to the fully-functional version of the product, free technical support and free upgrades.
