With T-Mobile launching 3G network in several US cities (New York, Las Vegas, Austin and San Antonio), today the US carrier released the Sony Ericsson TM506 flip phone with 3G bands on T-Mobile. The phone is available online and in store from T-Mobile and sells for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement (and $50 mail-in rebate). Here is more info on the phone:
The TM506 is a sleek flip phone available in a black gloss finish with emerald green or chrome with amber accents. The phone delivers a robust Web experience, features a 2.0 megapixel camera with My Album access, stereo Bluetooth and TeleNav maps. The TM506 also supports T-Mobile's 3G network and is the company's first HSDPA-capable handset.
