Those of you who fell in love with the unlocked GSM Samsung Omnia but lamented the fact that it lacks US 3G and isn't offered and thus subsidized by a US carrier may be happy to hear that rumors of its arrival on Verizon seem to be the real deal. This is a CDMA version for Verizon, and it features the same large touch screen with TouchWiz UI, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and hopefully the same excellent 5MP camera found on its GSM cousin.

A poster on Howard Forums has posted two not hugely sharp photos of the Verizon Omnia (one is above), and the images are complete with a Best Buy logo (CPcrazyfly works there and is proud to say so).
