Got a few pounds you want to lose? How about just building muscle? Tummy toning? iFitness has it covered for you. You can keep track of different exercises you've completed for the day, and even create your own custom routines.
iFitness is 4.3 MB in size and is easy and quick to install. It's really simple to see how to work the app and understand all the controls. When you open the app, the starting screen is a list of all the major muscle groups which you can select and see all the exercises for that muscle group. You can choose exercises by muscle type, or equipment, and you also have the option for adding your own custom exercises.
The instructions for the exercises include step-by-step images, and very detailed descriptions. There?s a list of different routines for whatever your body might need, and you can create your own routines base on the exercises in the app?s database, or your custom exercises. During or after workouts, you can log your completed exercises, down to the reps and weight, and can record your weight, BMI, and body measurements.
The controls are very intuitive and easy to learn and use. The graphics are clean and simple. There are no audio or options, as these aren?t essential in the application. An integrated calorie counter would have been nice so that the weight watchers could have everything they need in one application.
Pro: Hundreds of exercises, numerous customization options to fit your lifestyle.
Con: Needs more of the basic machines in gyms, and would be nice to have a calorie/fat log.
Everyone could use an app like iFitness. Majority of people probably either want to lose weight or gain muscle and this app can help you do that with not only the knowledge of your muscle groups but also a huge number of exercise routines at your fingertips. The flexibility of creating your own workout routines is very nice. Absolutely worth your money.
