On the farewell episode of the Oprah Winfrey show, Motorola unveiled their latest Android smartphone, the Motorola Defy. The slim yet macho looking Defy is rugged and has a scratch resistant touch screen. In fact it's also water resistant as well as dust proof. It features a 3.7" display, Adobe Flash Lite, DNA home media streaming over WiFi, the full Google experience including Google search (Samsung Fascinate, we're looking at you) and a 5 megapixel camera.
Being a Moto Android phone, MOTOBLUR is on board, for better or worse. For the uninitiated, MOTOBLUR is Motorola's UI enhancement and social networking software suite for Android.
Since this is a rugged, water resistant and dust-rejecting Android phone, I bet you thought the Defy would hit Nextel, right? Nope, the Defy will be exclusive to T-Mobile US, and it will be available in time for the holidays.
