Alien Space Free, the lite version of the popular and critically acclaimed dual-stick shooter is now in the App Store. This follows just weeks after the initial release of Alien Space, during which time the shooter has gained wide critical support and currently has a 4.5 (out of 5) star rating in the App Store. Also, to celebrate the release, the price of the full version has been lowered by 50% to $1.99 for a limited time. To celebrate the approval of the free version, the price of the full version has been temporarily lowered by 50%. The full version of the game gives players 25 more levels, survival mode, more available weapons, OpenFeint achievements, and allows players to compete in the full-version leaderboards rather than just the ones for the free version.
