Nook Color in-depth review
      11/30/10 12:35 PM

After producing our mammoth video reviews we lived and played with the Barnes and Noble Nook Color snatched from our local store for 10 days and found that we couldn't stop loving it. From rich magazines to solid ebook handling with an easy-access dictionary, multiple fonts and formatting options to very viewable PDFs, there's much to like. As a rabid E-Ink fan since 2006, I didn't think any LCD-based ebook reader could woo me, but the Nook Color's very sharp IPS display, capacitive touch screen and Android soul beckoned. And in the end it won our Editor's Choice award.

The Nook Color is available now in Barnes & Noble stores and Best Buy and it sells for $249. It has a 7" color touch screen, WiFi, 8 gigs of storage (5 available), a microSD card slot and it handles ePUB ebooks, PDFs, MS Office document viewing, web browsing, video playback, photo viewing and Pandora radio too.
