eBook Readers hit mainstream, Kindle 3 is Amazon.com top selling item

Jeff Bezos and the folks at Amazon have to be tickled pink- the Amazon Kindle 3 in WiFi and WiFi plus 3G forms are the best selling items on Amazon.com. Not just in the electronics category apparently, but everything. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Amazon's former all-time best seller was dethroned by Amazon's latest generation ereader. Looks like digital reading is no longer the future, but rather the present.
