CES News: HP Updates Notebook Models Including the ENVY 17, dv6, dv7, Mini 210 and dm1

HP today announced new updates to its notebook products that add 3D to the ENVY 17, second-gen Intel Core CPU and AMD Radeon graphics to the Pavilion notebooks and two new plaid designs to the Mini 210. Here is more info on these new updates:

HP Pavilion dm1 update includes:



?Performance of a notebook with the mobility of a netbook in a compact stylish design
?Features HP CoolSense Technology ?advanced hardware and intelligent cooling software for a noticeably cooler notebook
?Offers the latest VISION Technology from AMD powered by an AMD Fusion APU for smooth 1080p full HD viewing
?11.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView display, a full-size, island-style keyboard and Dolby Advanced Audio
?Up to 10.75 hours of battery life , up to 750 GB of storage, optional GPS and an optional external Blu-ray disc player
?Available on Jan. 9, 2011 in the U.S. starting at $449.99

HP Envy 17 update includes:



?Updated with HP CoolSense Technology, making it the first high performance HP PC with advanced cooling technology
?Includes future second generation Intel Core processors (Sandy Bridge) and AMD switchable graphics technology that alternates between integrated graphics and Mobility Radeon 6850M graphics
?Intel Wireless Display technology shares content wirelessly from the notebook to TV?s and other screens
?Includes Beats Audio and HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer for superb sound
?17.3-inch diagonal HD BrightView display and up to 2 TB of storage capacity
?Expected to be available soon with pricing to be determined

HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 updates include:



?Updated with future second generation Intel Core processors and AMD Mobility Radeon graphics
?Pavilion dv6 is ideal for any type of media-rich experience in a stylish brushed aluminum finish or a HP Imprint finish in a variety of color options
?Pavilion dv7 delivers the ultimate power and performance with the option of Beats Audio and the HP Triple Bass Subwoofer
?Available on Jan. 9, 2011 in the U.S. starting at $899.99 and $999.99, respectively

HP Mini 210 update includes:



?Expanded line includes two new stylish plaid designs ?iceberry and raspberry
?Less than 1-inch thin and up to 10.75 hours of battery life
?Also available in charcoal, lavender frost, luminous rose, and ocean drive
?The Mini 210 in iceberry is expected to be available on Jan. 9, 2011 in the U.S. starting at $349.99
?The Mini 210 in raspberry will be offered exclusively at Best Buy and is expected to be available on Jan. 23, 2011 starting at $329.99
