Barnes n Noble today released an update for its free NOOK app for Android. The version 2.5 NOOK app enables customers to use Android smartphones and 7-inch tablets and includes a new library grid view, wish list feature and download progress meter, along with other improvements.
Also this spring, the company plans to release a new version of NOOK for Android that will offer enhanced graphics, grid views and more, optimized for those shopping or reading on larger 10-inch Honeycomb-based tablets, such as upcoming products from Motorola, Samsung, Toshiba and others.
