At BlackBerry World today when RIM said that the Facebook app for their new BlackBerry PlayBook would be available in May, they were being modest. It's available right now for download on your PlayBook in App World. We've just downloaded it and taken it for a spin. And well, it looks like a mobile Facebook client.
You've got the standard news feed timeline with the like feature, threaded replies and a chance for you to reply , images and clickable URLs. Tapping on a photo opens up a full screen version that looks lovely and the app supports Facebook Chat.
There's access to your profile, messages and your friends list as a grid of profile photos.
Wow, that was quick.
