U.S. Cellular today began offering the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update for the LG Apex Android smartphone. The Froyo update gives customers an improved browsing experience with faster download speeds, updates to the Android Market, portable hot-spot capability (requires a tethering plan), Adobe Flash 10.1 support and fully integrated support for Microsoft Exchange.
Customers can visit www.uscellular.com/androidupgrades where they will find information that explains the new features that they will experience after the upgrade and an installation guide that explains the process and allows customers to upgrade.
