Over the past two weeks, Verizon Wireless announced new cell sites to enhance 3G network capacity and coverage in:
- Kankakee County, Ill. - McHenry County, Ill. - Minooka, Ill. - Jefferson County, N.Y. - Oneida County, N.Y. - Saratoga County, N.Y. - Lincoln County, Ore. - Bloomsburg, Pa. - Centre County, Pa. - Uniontown, Pa. - Wesleyville, Pa. - Redmond, Wash. - Renton, Wash.
Verizon Wireless also activated a temporary cell site in Bethel, N.Y., to increase capacity for concert-goers looking to enjoy outdoor music. New cell sites in Port Huron, Mich., and Erie County, N.Y., also allow residents and travelers on the Verizon Wireless network to stay more connected by the shores of the Great Lakes.
