iPhone Game Review: Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage
Reviewed by SpaZtrigger

From the vast depths of the Internet the Annoying Orange arrives to deliver Some wholesome fun and the deaths of your favorite Internet fruits.

The point of the game is to help the Annoying Orange to slaughter his pals through the use of blenders, a hard to reach hole, and of course a knife. While you slaughter the fruits by swiping the screen the Annoying Orange will comment on which fruit was killed and when you manage to place a fruit in the chopping board. He will scream the word KNIFE while the actual knife slices the fruit in half giving you bonus points.

When starting the game you may notice that you are timed and by hitting fruits in a shelf and popping a balloon you will be able to get more time. After you reach a certain score you will progress to the next level and another blender and a new fruit will appear. Occasionally a small slot will open for a fruit to be thrown into which will give you 4x the fruit value.

Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage is fun probably because it's fun to utterly destroy fruits while the annoying orange is laughing in the background commenting on what happens. Also the sheer difficulty of the game and the precise control needed to kill the fruit is what makes the game challenging and fun.

If any of you watch the annoying Orange videos on YouTube you will realize that the annoying orange still looks exactly the same. So you can still look at your favorite orange the way he looks on YouTube. The graphics are good and seeing as how nothing changed for the better or worse. Although graphics like these won't win awards it still brings many users the annoying orange that they all know and love.

The controls for the game is simple swipe the screen. The fruits will go further as you swipe harder. If you swipe in a certain direction then the fruit will go toward that direction. The controls are responsive and easy to use making this game easy to play.

The thing about the Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage is that the music isn't important it's actually the dialogue of the orange and other fruits that make the game fun. Without these voices the game would be dull and wouldn?t be nearly as funny. While the music is your standard packet the voices are what make the game unique. This is one of the first Annoying Orange game on the AppStore and this app has to set an example for others to follow. Luckily the game did just that. If for some reason you don?t want to listen to the music or the Annoying Orange's voice you always have the option to play your own soundtrack.

This game brings so much to the player delivering the Annoying Orange himself, responsive controls, and smooth gameplay. And the best part of the game is hearing the Annoying Orange yell, "KNIFE!!!!!!"

Ratings (scale of 1 to 5):

Graphics: - 5 - Who doesn't like the orange at his best.
Sound: - 5 - Good voices and epic music
Controls: - 5 - simple and responsive controls)
Gameplay: - 5 - Fun gameplay making massacring fruits fun)

Playing Hints and Tips:

- Keep growing the fruits at one blender since if you throw it some where else it will be harder to accumulate points faster

-When a cabinet opens and the fruit is in the bottom shelf then throw the fruit toward the top so it will fall on the other fruit.
