Today might be iPad 3 day, but yesterday the game Mass Effect 3 ruled. Our local Best Buy had sold out by 1pm, and I saw several folks leaving the store with the game happily in hand. The game is available on PS3, XBOX and Windows, and we take a look at performance on the new HP Envy 15, a 15.6" notebook with a quad core Intel i7 CPU and very good dedicated graphics- MD Radeon HD 7690M and 1 gig DDR5 VRAM.
Mass Effect 3's CPU requirements aren't too steep, but the graphics requirements are, so let's see how the Envy 15 does in the Mars mission. And check out the 5.1 built-in speakers too!
