In the large collection of iPhone 4S/4 cases from Macally, the Flexible Case is a simple yet very functional case. This TPU plastic case keeps the shape very well and fits the iPhone 4S like a glove. The Flexible Case is easy to use, and comes in three color options: black, pin and white.

Design

The Macally Flexible Case for iPhone 4S is made with TPU treated plastic material that's impact resistant. The case feels more durable than a silicone case and better at preventing nicks and bumps to your phone while in a bag or a backpack. The case is form fitting, and while it's not as loose as silicone cases, it's quite easy to put the case on or take it off of the iPhone 4S. The Macally Flexible Case covers the back and sides of the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4, and wraps around the sides and covers the front bezel a bit to create a barrier for the display when you put the phone face down. The case has a gloss like look but it's not slippery at all. In fact, it has a grip feel to it that some times it takes a bit of an effort to take it out from a tight pocket. The case has faint white Macally branding on the back of the case as well as on the inside of the case.

Features

The Macally Flexible Case for the iPhone 4S/4 is a very functional case. It has cutouts for all ports, sound holes and the rear camera, but keeps buttons covers for some extra protection. The case offers one long cutout on the bottom for the 30-pin connector access as well as the mic and speaker to let sound through. It has a side cutout for the silence button that works with all iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S models, and the top cutout leaves out the 3.5mm audio jack and the top mic. The case has raised plastic over the power button and volume buttons, making it easier to find and press. The cutout for the rear camera gives the camera full view and the flash enough space to fully illuminate.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a simple, durable and affordable case for your iPhone 4S or iPhone 4, the Macally Flexible Case is an easy choice not only because these cases are in most retail stores including Apple stores but also they are usually under $10. The case is form fitting, keeps the shape very well, and it's very easy to use. It's very effective against scratches and nicks, and it's grippy for better handling the slippery phone. It has matching colors for both the white and black iPhone, and a pink one to jazz up the collection. If you need screen protector though, you will need to get one separately as the case doesn't come with one.
