Musubo is a new case brand that ships products to worldwide markets. Their cases are designed in Hong Kong, and their latest Samsung Galaxy S III case collection offers some unique looking cases. Inspired by Tokyo street fashion, the Musubo Rubber Band Case has a modern and playful design. The case is protective and easy to use, and it comes in eight bright and playful colors including Chartreuse, Neon Magenta, Rose Pink, Sky Blue as well as Black, White, Purple and Red.

The Musubo Rubber Band Case for the Samsung Galaxy S III has a very imaginative design. The case is made with TPU plastic that's very durable and keeps shape very well. The back of the case looks like it's laced with rubber bands and it has a glossy surface. Though shiny, the case isn't too slippery. The interior has a soft touch surface that won't mar your Galaxy S III when you are handling it with the case. The case has enough flexibility for you to put it on or take it off of the phone without too much of a struggle, but the plastic material is more rigid than silicone and keeps its form fitting shape much longer as well.

The Musubo Rubber Band Case covers the edges of the front bezel quite a bit and creates a sturdy barrier for the display when you put the phone face down. There is also a phone charm holder on the right side of the case. The Rubber Band case is reasonably slim and light weighing only 1.2 ounces.

Features and Quality

It might seems like the rubber band design is random, but there's an order in the chaos. The Musubo Rubber Band Case covers both the volume rocker and the power button under the case. If you look closely you will see that two rubber band pieces extend to cover the left side and another one on the right. These extended "rubber band" pieces help you use the volume buttons and the power button easier. The Rubber Band case for the Samsung Galaxy S III has perfect cutouts for the audio jack and the sync port as well as both top and bottom mics. The case has cutouts for the speaker, and the rear camera and flash that give them both enough room to work properly.

The Musubo Rubber Band Case for the Galaxy S III comes with a small foldable stand. You can keep the stand flat when not using it, and fold it into a stand when you need it. It's small but surprisingly steady and reasonably sturdy. It can hold the phone in both portrait and landscape orientations in a viewing angle that's comfortable for watching movies or video chats.

Imaginative, lightweight and form fitting, the Musubo Rubber Band Case is a very playful yet very functional case for the Galaxy S III. It's easy to get the phone into and out of the case. It can protect the phone from scratches, bumps and even some shock protection. The case protects the display by adding a barrier on the edges of the bezel, but no screen protector is included in the package contrary to the info on the company's web site. We also like the color selection.
